David Lloyd Clubs Amsterdam Grand Reopening

To mark the grand reopening of David Lloyd Clubs Amsterdam, we executed an integrated PR and OOH campaign designed to drive awareness, create city-wide buzz, and re-establish the club as a premier fitness and lifestyle destination. The campaign launched with a social-first teaser, enlisting 20 Amsterdam-based female creators to ignite anticipation online. This momentum was amplified through a hyper-local OOH takeover starting May 8, with high-visibility placements across the city, including branded Amsterdam trams.

The official reopening featured a ribbon-cutting ceremony with Alderman Sofyan Mbarki and David Gaffin, guided press tours, and secured coverage in leading outlets such as &C Media, Manly and Your Little Black Book.

That evening, the BLAZE studio transformed into a nightclub in partnership with Red Bull, hosting electrifying performances by DJs Bizzey and Lorenzo. The guest list included over 50 influencers and key tastemakers among them Rianne Meijer, Thijs Boermans, Julia Mekkes and Vita Cleo. The fully integrated approach delivered standout results, with strong media coverage, high influencer engagement, and broad online and offline visibility, ensuring the reopening resonated across Amsterdam’s fitness, lifestyle, and social scenes.
